What infrastructure does Happy Cloud use?
Happy Cloud leverages the Akamai Electronic Software Distribution (ESD) for Gaming platform. By integrating and optimizing for the Akamai network, Happy Cloud makes on demand gaming even faster, in addition to being more reliable and scalable. Instead of needing to build data centers from scratch, Happy Cloud can utilize Akamai's existing network of tens of thousands of servers around the world.
What happens if the transmission is interrupted?
Prior to purchasing the product, a small application is delivered to your PC's desktop. If the transmission is interrupted, this application can be used to restart the download. If a download is restarted, the transmission resumes where it left off.
Eventually, the full game will be available on your computer and you will not need Internet access to play. However, in the beginning, please make sure you stay connected. If the transmission is interrupted, Happy Cloud will notify you and pause gameplay.
Does it work on Mac?
Right now we only support Windows and PC games. Eventually we plan on supporting Mac OS as well.
